Update
The South Australian Hobie Cat Association
has had a busy few months progressing arrangements for
the upcoming Hogs Breath Café – Hobie Cat Australasia National
Championships from27th of December 2006 to the 6th of January
2007 at the picturesque Adelaide Sailing Club.
It is anticipated that the Hog’s Breath Hobie Cat National
Championships will afford both national and international
competitors the opportunity to share knowledge and expertise
about their sport as well as engage in a few good “ripping
yarns” after the race at the club-house.
The major sponsors for the event, the Hogs Breath Café and Hobie
Cat Australasia has continued to work with the organising
committee and has ensured that the philosophy of the Hogs Breach
Café “have fun and enjoy yourself” is captured not only in the
Championships but also in all the activities leading up the
event.
The Adelaide Sailing Club is also busying itself in ensuring
that competitors and families enjoy their experience whilst at
the Club and is undergoing a lot of work to make sure the club
meets the needs of competitors and families alike during the
event in respect to family friendly catering and facilities.
The South Australian Hobie Cat Association is looking forward to
hosting an exiting and enjoyable Championship and will keep you
regularly updated as arrangements are being made.

With Major Sponsors in place, organisation of the 2006/2007 Australian Hobie Cat

Adelaide Sailing Club is situated, is going through continued improvements.
A new paved cycle/walk track extends from the town centre along the foreshore
past the sailing club providing great access from all forms of accommodation.
For the keen - this track leads all the way to Port Adelaide - ideal for the
early morning run - or the late evening 'stumble'. The finishing touches are
being put on the new amusement park - located at the end of the tram line right
